Snake Mound is the sixth of the founded Realms of the Domain: brought into being January 1, 2002 by former Crown-Princess Maellen-Sihrenna Silvermoon ni DarkFyre. Currently, Snake Mound sits without a Ruler, and lies under the administration of the DarkFyre Imperium, until a ruler is found.

Snake Mound is named for The Great Serpent Mound, which lies in the Southern part of Ohio. Snake Mound is one of the Domani Realms that lies along the shores of the Silurian Seas(the Great Lakes), and is as much known for its shoreline as it is for its namesake.
